OPENING NIGHT CELEBRATION
Immediately following the opening night screening of Cliffs of Freedom on Friday, May 3, the Hellenic Film Society will host an Opening Night Celebration at the renowned Brasserie 8 ½, near the Directors Guild Theater. With its dramatic sweeping staircase and original artwork by Matisse, Leger, and other French artists, the French brasserie is one of New York’s most stylishly sophisticated restaurants.
Wine, beer, and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Guest filmmakers are expected to attend the reception
